‘Onwards and Upwards’
Kirsty worked with children from the Gifted and Talented group to produce this relief mural for the Library area to reflect the theme of the School’s ‘Learning Powers’.

Braunstone

“This mural was born out of the UNISEF campaign entitled ‘Every Child Matters’. All the children in the school took part in the making of this artwork over a period of weeks. After making a rough plan, I designed the workshops to generate the visual material we would need to complete the Project, by allocating a different subject (related to the whole) to each year group. All the work was gathered together and composed onto the background which I had painted directly onto the wall.”
